Silent Open Mic is every 2nd Wednesday of the month 🎤 Starting with a featured performer to kick off the night and set the bar, followed by up to 20 open mic competitors vying for crowd favorite and a cash prize. Vets and upstarts alike are invited to work on new material, craft their performance style, get quality content for their portfolio, and network with other creatives.

“Hello, My name is John Wes and I'm a Georgia born artist that's currently based in Jax who Raps for the people. Music has always been powerful enough to help me navigate through some of the most intense parts of my life; from being a kid all the way up to me being a husband and a father of two beautiful children. I'm certain that the effect it had/has on me played a major role in me making the decision to choose music as a lifestyle. I want to return the favor. I want to inspire the mind, strengthen the soul and soothe the silent warriors that hold the emotions and situations of others close to their heart. I do it for those that care. Please Note: This is an open mic for artists performing their ORIGINAL material over a recorded track (no covers or instruments plz - Youtube instrumentals are permitted). Bring your music on a playable device or email it to hushhushlivemusic@gmail.com.
