This month our featured performer to kick off the night and set the bar is Jay Myztroh❗️🎤🎶
- Jay Myztroh, Jeremy McKinnies, is a vocalist, conductor, songwriter, composer and music educator. He has become known for soulful singing and energetic live performances most recently through the bands Stono Echo and Nightcrawler. He earned a Master of Music degree in choral conducting from the University of North Florida. His Bachelor of Music degree from Jacksonville University was in Music Theory and Composition.
Myztroh’s experience as a musician is diverse. In 2017, his duo with the late great Paten Locke, called Stono Echo, released the LP Black Diamonds with recording label Full Plate. Cosmic Link, his international collaboration with Ben Dubuisson of High Noon records, based in Bristol, UK, produced the Metaphysical EP in 2022 and their self-titled follow up LP is scheduled for a 2023 release. Some of his music has been featured on various television programs/motion pictures, including How I Met Your Mother and Paramount Pictures’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows.
