Meet the OwnersDavid and Cory McCracken live in Jacksonville, Florida after relocating from Athens, GA in 2020. They come from backgrounds in event coordinating and both value community building.
David founded the business in 2016 as a portable, silent venue for live performers and bands, highlighting talents in a uniquely immersive experience through headphone-based shows. From there, Hush Hush Headphones' services naturally extended to regular silent dance parties and have become a fixture of the local night life. Cory partnered with David in 2017 to help manage the weekly events and grow community engagement. Cory received a Masters in Fine Arts from University of Georgia and a Bachelors in Fine Arts from University of North Florida. They relocated to Cory's hometown in Jacksonville in 2020 to be closer to family while they expand their own, and to grow their business in a larger city. |
